If elected, I will support our educators by ensuring they have a seat at the table. Teachers are the professionals who work with our students every day, and their insight is invaluable. I will make it a priority to regularly meet with educators and their representatives, including the Clay County Education Association, to hear their concerns and recommendations. While I will always make decisions based on what's best for students, I believe the best decisions are made when we listen to the people closest to the classroom. My commitment is to be accessible, respectful, and collaborative while remaining an independent voice focused on strengthening public education for every student in Clay County.
As a School Board member, I will advocate for greater transparency in district decision-making, responsible budgeting, and regular communication with families, educators, and the community. I believe taxpayers deserve to know how their money is being spent, educators deserve to have a voice before decisions are made, and parents deserve clear, timely information. I will work to ensure every decision is focused on improving student outcomes while using district resources wisely.
